Semi Privates sessions have 3 to 5 people. Unlike Group Classes that are limited to one piece of apparatus, clients in a semi private experience all the equipment in the studio based on their fitness level and goals.

Group Classes

Mat Group Classes

If you really want to work your "core", Mat is the "alpha and omega" of core workouts.

If you are new to Pilates and not sure where to start, a Mat class is a great place to start. Some of the benefits include:

  • Toning
  • Flexibility
  • Better Posture
  • Efficient Movement
  • Mind/ Body Connection

Learning the basics in a Mat Class where there are fewer things to keep up with will make it that much easier to apply them on the equipment. In addition, many of the movements learned on the Mat translate directly to the equipment. Our classes are a great place to meet friends and have the support and guidance of a Pilates teacher. Once you have become proficient, it is quite feasible to "practice" your mat work anywhere!

Reformer / Equipment Classes

The Reformer is the most well known piece of Pilates equipment. The Group Reformer class is a 55 minute session that will help you achieve peak body performance. Each class has exercises that will stabilize and engage your "powerhouse" (abdominal, Lower back, and glutes).

If you want to improve your tennis/ golf swing, relieve back/neck/hip/leg pain, recover your post-baby body or strengthen your muscles, our group classes are a great way to go and save money.

The class size is limited to 6 participants.

All levels are welcomed in our classes!

Please call to inquire about classes and reserve a spot. Space is limited. Class schedule may change without notice.

FAQs

  • Q: What should I wear?

A: Wear clothes that allow free range of motion and coverage when you are lying down on equipment with your feet in the air. But try not to wear something too loose fitting, it is important for the instructor to be able to observe your body move. Most clients go bare foot but you are more than welcome to wear socks.

  • Q: Who is Pilates for?

A: Regardless of your current level - from sedentary office worker to fitness enthusiast, young or old, a program can be designed to meet your specific needs and goals.

  • Q: I am pregnant. Is Pilates an appropriate exercise program for me?

A: Pilates can be an excellent exercise program for pregnant and post-partum women. We are able to offer this type of training and supervision in solo or duo sessions only. Please check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program. We strongly discourage pregnant women and 0 – 6 weeks post-partum from participating in-group reformer classes. We will gladly welcome you after your baby is 6 weeks or older.

  • Q: How often should I do Pilates?

A: We suggest that you workout 2 – 4 times a week, taking a day off in between sessions to rest or enjoy some kind of cardiovascular activity. Like any exercise program, consistency is the key. “Use it or lose it.”

  • Q: What are the benefits of Pilates?

    • Improves Posture
    • Heightens body awareness
    • Improves coordination and circulation
    • Increases flexibilty and agility
    • Easy on the joints
    • Improves quality of life
